Project Description:

The most important achievements of the Project Management Office in the second group can be summarized as follows:

  • Within a very short period of time, a team consisting of many specialists with global expertise was appointed to manage healthcare facility projects in various fields, including technical, financial, planning, and control.
  • A rigorous project management methodology was implemented, which led to enhanced project control and improved decision-making effectiveness for all stakeholders involved in the projects.
  • Identifying the best project management practices aligned with the Group 2 projects and adapting them for the group’s projects, along with providing necessary training and support during the implementation of procedures for contractors, consultants, and the ministry.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for project execution tailored to the needs of the Ministry of Health, which led to achieving operational excellence by applying standardized procedures to all commercial and technical transactions.
  • Aligning and implementing an electronic project management system, which included training contractors and consultants on how to use the system and providing technical support to the users.
  • Standardizing the procedures and templates for submitting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Providing support and submitting proposals and recommendations to the Ministry of Health whenever requested to resolve financial and technical issues.
  • Establishing and managing an audit team to identify performance weaknesses in projects and work towards continuous improvement.
  • Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of contractors and consultants through conducting workshops and providing ongoing support and guidance.
